November 15th, 2008

Hi all, It is that time of the year again when I am busy trying to make Christmas cards. I have done one lot for my friend Shelagh for her charity the Trailblazers that her son belongs to, which is an offshoot of Mencap.
These are some of the ones I sent. :) I hope they sell really well.

I am busy working on the next lot for my friend down in Cornwall for the Rainbow Little Cat Rescue. They rehome cats and you all know how important cats are to Brian and I. And also going to try to get some done for my friend Marc who has started a group of crafters up at the Hospice centre that he visits during his treatments, somewhere in London. Last year they made quite a bit to start a scrapbooking club, for folks at the centre to help them remember their loved ones. He sure is a very special person is our Marc, always thinking of others. (((((Marc)))))
This next lot were sent off to another friend who is making a donation to Mencap. :)
They are a new set of stamps that I then hand paint with water colours. I just love these little critters!!!
And speaking of Critters... Well the boys have gone into hibernation mode here.

Brian and I on the other hand have been getting out and doing some regular walking. We try very hard to get out every other day if possible and do a 2 1/2 mile walk around the fancy housing estate nearby. We go past the pond and do a little bird watching there too. I sometimes get the chance to give some of the dogs a pat along the way if their owners allow me to. Other than that not much else going on here. Oh besides an upcoming Galaxy friends meet up, and a card competition for the Ebay friends and the gardening and cooking and ........ Okay must get busy and finish up some more cards now.

I'm a tad late posting here - just browsing - but thanks for your cards, Pat, which went to good homes, as I hope all the cats do too! :D
