Only one more week to go and then we are on break. Yeah!!!! Brian has a lot of plans for fixing up the house during this summer break so we will see how far we get with them.
I got some new photos of baby Dororthy!! She is really changing looks!! And she looks like such a happy baby!!!
This is the littel out fit I bought her. I just loved the jeans!!!!
Here she is smiling at her mom!!! Awwww....
Here she is having fun with her toys.
And not quite sure what she is doing in this one.
I have been busy working on cards and ATC's here for various events. Also we have been trying to keep up with the garden. It was a bit tatty looking after all the rain we have been getting. But it is now tidy looking. Our poor courgette plants got mildew from all the rain and they were not doing so well. We have been trying hard to save them. We dusted the leaves over a week ago with some stuff that is supposed to help with mildew and keep cutting off the infected looking leaves. So maybe just maybe we can save them. They do have one or two rather large courgettes on them now. And have stopped eating the flowers for a bit. Our red currant bushes have been outdoing themselves this year. And we have got quite a few off them. I think this next batch will go into the freezer. The beans are growing well and have flowers on them now, but the slugs keep eating holes in the leaves. The tomatoes are well too and I just noticed today one or two with a tint of red. We have also been enjoying lettuces and herbs from our little garden so far. I may try one or two new vegetables next year. Will have to wait and see how much room Brian lets me have to grow them in.
The cats are doing well. I think they are getting fed up with the weather too. Sometimes they have excess energy and get to rough housing with each other because they can't get outside. The temperature here keeps changing one minute hot and sunny and the next cold and gray. Not sure if we are going to get a summer or not this year.
