15th December 2008

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Down with the flu bug at the moment and not feeling like doing much of anything so figured I could catch up on my blogging. I should be busy baking this week for the big day next week, but will wait till I have enough energy to actually stand up for a bit.
We have had a bit of excitement with a new visitor. You can read all about him or her over on my garden blog. Meet our new friend Tiggy.
Well it was a good thing I had done a bit of cleaning before coming down with this bug. I know I picked it up while out shopping last Monday. I distinctly remember hearing a person sneeze and thinking ohhhh I hope I don't get that. Why can't sick people please stay home and stop infecting other people!!! Oh well. I have been really lucky in that poor Brian who is lacking in sleep hasn't come down with it yet. I am hoping he doesn't. He had his flu shot not long ago so hopefully that will stop him getting it. I think next year I will go ahead and pay to have one just to be on the safe side.
I don't know what it is, maybe stress??? I don't know, but it seems that every year about this time things go haywire. My friend was telling my group about her oven going, which reminded me of all my oven horror stories at this time of the year. So glad the new cooker (yes, I am touching wood as I type) seems to be doing really well.
Besides updating my blogs I started a new one for my cards and Crafts. I hope you all will enjoy seeing the fun stuff I get up to making. Well I think that is about all the energy I have at the moment gone. So will try to update next week. Have a Merry Christmas incase I don't make it back. :)

Hi Pat, hope you are feeling better. Aren't you ambitious starting another blog. I've been combining mine, as I wanted to try something different. I'll pop over and check it out.

Pat, hope you start feeling better soon. I also haven't had my flu shot yet and I need to get a move on it before I end up weaker. Not even sure I feel like baking. Wishing you and B and wonderful and Merry Christmas. Luv Ya, Pat

Pat, just wanted to stop by and wish you and Brian a very Happy New Year. I will be taking a break after all the sadness we have been through on the same day as last year. Love and Hugs, Pat
