Sorry for not posting sooner. Been a busy last few days here.... Anyway spring has sprung and our wee little garden is full of colour at the moment..... we have loads of daffodils and crocus and hyacinths and primulas blooming and some more flowers ready to burst forth in bloom soon.
Well part of the reason I haven't posted is I had a Birthday yesterday. And not only did I have one, but my twin sons' are having one today...and my stepson is having one on Thursday. So a few celebrations have been going on here. This birthday is the last for my forties... Next year is a new milestone..... So this year should be interesting..... I will become a grandmother for the first time this year, and I wonder what other suprises are in store for me....
Anyway this is some of how my Birthday has been spent.... We went to London on Saturday to celebrate with Hamish and Yuk-kin. Here is Mr. Jingles telling us goodbye as we walked to catch our bus....
He looks like a poor little lost soul doesn't he. Honest don't believe every picture you see. This cat is a little devil in disguise. When we arrived back home he showed his true colours and I have the scratches to prove it. Think this is his way of saying you should have stayed home with me!!!
Anytime I take the camera to London I have to get a photo of St. Pauls. Haven't had one at this angle before. :) It is such a picturesque building that you just can't help getting the camera out and snapping away.We had a walk through Chinatown one of my very favourite areas of London. So full of colour and lovely aromas and interesting shops!!! I just had to dash into one and get some little bean candy things for a quick pressie for Hamish and Yuk-kin. They were yummy!!!
Okay here I am.... I really do need to loose weight and I keep trying.... maybe someday. The handsome guy next to me is my Hubby!!! Anyway, we had lunch at the Palais De Jardin in Covent Garden. What a lovely meal!!!! Also have some lovely photos of Hamish and Yuk-kin, but not putting them here without their permission. Sorry. Now these photos were taken today...... I thought cats went for comfort.... This just goes to show you that warmth wins out over comfort...... I know I wouldn't be comfy laying ontop of a pile of books sticking into my ribs.....
All in all this has been a really lovely Birthday!!! Wonder what the next one will be like....

Hi Pat - just checking blogs on a rainy afternoon. I see we have another coincidence ... children have the same birthday too! I'm wondering what else we will discover that is the same about us :) Nice to see a photo of you & hubby.

Pat, what a wonderful picture. You and hubby make a lovely couple. I love the beautiful things you get to see---unlike our cement cities.
